Prompt: write about an experience when someone assumed something about you because of a stereotype. What was the situation, and what did you do?

Prompt response : One time someone assumed something about me because of a stereotype was assuming at school assuming I only spoke Spanish.

Summary: One day in class my teacher came over to my desk and told me to click a certain link for an assignment, as I read the article I was confused and looked at my classmates screens where they had english assignments. I was confused why everything was in Spanish in my assignment and I was not in a Spanish class. I never specifically asked for a Spanish version. I don’t like confrontation so I decided to do nothing.

Reflection: I was a bit hurt a teacher assumed something like this but I didn’t take it too personally.
