Prompt : Recall a specific incident when someone’s words offended you. Describe what was said, how it made you feel, and what actions you took in response. Reflect on whether your response helped resolve the situation or changed how you think about communication.

Prompt Response : One time in a group project, a classmate told me I was not being useful. That hurt because I had been cooperating in the project. I felt upset and unappreciated. I explained what I had done and asked how I could help more. After that, the classmate realized I had been doing work and apologized.

Summary: A classmate’s words offended me by dismissing my effort. I stayed calm and explained my part.

Reflection: I learned that staying calm and talking things out works better than getting mad. Words can hurt, but clear communication can make situations better.
