Prompt: Think about the most stereotypical film you have ever seen. This could be a movie that represents a specific culture, race, gender, or group in an oversimplified or unrealistic way. In your response, explain what film you are referring to, what stereotypes were present in the film, and how those stereotypes shaped your understanding of that group at the time

Prompt Response : One stereotypical film I have seen is Mean Girls. It shows high school girls as overly dramatic, rude, and obsessed with popularity. It also makes cliques seem like the most important part of school.

Summary : The stereotypes in the movie made it seem like all teenage girls act mean and care only about looks and social status. It also made high school seem more extreme than it really is.

Reflection : At the time, it made me think high school would be full of drama and mean people, but later I realized it was exaggerated for entertainment.
